Financial Crisis Support

Western Sydney MRC offers a range of services to support individuals in financial crisis. Our services helps families and individuals with short term assistance in times of crisis. The assistance we are able to provide depends on individual assessment and circumstances.

Emergency Relief

This Program supports individuals who live in the Liverpool and Fairfield Areas with food vouchers, pharmacy and other specialty areas.

Working Development Orders (WDO)

Our team can support you through our caseworkers linking you to financial and counselling services such as WDO. To find out more please speak with one of our Caseworkers.

Temporary Protection Visas

Thank you for reaching out to Western Sydney Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) for guidance and support regarding Temporary Protection Visas (TPVs). We strive to provide up-to-date information and services to assist individuals like you in navigating this complex process.

Assistance is not always guaranteed, but we will always refer you to a relevant service if we aren’t able to assist you. Western Sydney MRC is not able to provide ongoing or long-term financial support but aim to provide immediate assistance to those in times of crisis.

EAPA - Electricity, Gas and Water Account Assistance

The Energy Assistance Payment Assistance (EAPA) program is designed to provide financial support to eligible low-income households in paying their energy bills. The program is typically funded by government or non-profit organizations and helps families and individuals who are struggling to pay their energy bills due to financial hardship.

To make sure we make an accurate assessment of your situation, as well as help in the best way possible, please bring the documents below. Without these documents, we won’t be able to make an accurate assessment, and a new appointment will need to be scheduled. Western Sydney MRC’s Emergency Relief service helps families and individuals with short term assistance in times of crisis. Proof of income, either through Centrelink statements or payslips, for all family members.

Bank Statements

Current bank statements for all family members.
