Welcome to Multicultural ElderConnect – your partner in accessing aged care services and supports for seniors in need. Our program is designed to help those who require intensive support to access aged care services and other relevant supports in the community. We understand that navigating the aged care system can be challenging, especially for seniors facing barriers such as isolation, communication difficulties, and past negative experiences.

Multicultural Elderconnect

We work directly with CALD seniors, their carers, family, and representatives, with their consent, to provide customized support that caters to their unique cultural needs and language preferences. Whether you're looking to raise awareness of MyAgedCare services, find suitable aged care services based on your cultural needs and language preferences, or access wrap-around services outside of MyAgedCare, we're here to help.

Our connectors:
  • help find suitable service providers
  • assist you with accessing MyAgedCare
  • attend your meetings with you to provide guidance and support
  • We provide access to wraparound services outside of MyAgedCare
  • speak multiple languages including English, Assyrian and Arabic
  • assist you with completing forms and meetings with providers

Contact us today to find out how we can support you or your loved one on the journey to accessing the right aged care services and supports.

About the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Funded by the Australian Government

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) formerly known as Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) is a free service that aims to enrich the quality of life of older people who have been identified as being lonely or socially isolated and might benefit from having a regular volunteer to provide friendship and companionship. Visits are available to anyone who receives government-subsidised residential aged care or Home Care Packages, including people who are approved and on a waiting list for residential care or home care packages.

Commonwealth Home Support Program

The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) is designed to provide entry-level home support for older Australians who wish to continue living independently.  Whether you require the CHSP or a higher level of care, the first step is the same. You first need to access My Aged Care. Speak with one of our EnCOMPASS team.

Flexible Respite

Flexible respite is short term respite care in the home to allow carers to have a break, attend appointments or run errands for a couple of hours per week.

EnCOMPASS Connectors

Multicultural Aged Care Connector program is a partnership between FECCA. Services are available to carers and individuals 65yrs and over.

Our connectors:
  • are experienced and trusted amongst their communities
  • speak multiple languages including English, Khmer, Assyrian and Arabic
  • are culturally appropriate and approachable making our team the obvious choice to support you or those you care for through MyAgedCare services.

The services of EnCOMPASS Connectors are free. Find out more by contacting one of our team.
