Miwork Employment Program Overview

Join Western Sydney MRC’s 5-step employment program, supporting you through the key phases of skills, interest, experience and working towards long term employment.

The program assists you in identifying your skills and interests and begin career pathways towards success. The program is designed to create strategies that generate employment opportunities.This program will provide career and further education advice to you for the betterment of your future.

By joining our program, you will:

  • Have an individually tailored resume
  • Connected to a host employer
  • Develop employability skills such as interview skills and techniques
  • Greater understanding of Australian workplace culture
  • Connected to tailored to Pathway Options for further study or employment.

Clients may drop in to Western Sydney MRC to book an appointment to see an intake officer.

Making Client Referrals

Service providers can complete a referral form for a client. This will bypass the need for the client to see an intake officer. If allocated for ongoing casework, a needs assessment will be conducted with the client. Sing and Grow

Sing & Grow is a music therapy program providing services for children aged 1-6 years old and their families. Our programs focus on strengthening family relationships, supporting parents to understand their children’s development, and encouraging learning through music and sharing traditional and non-traditional children’s songs.

At Western Sydney Migrant Resource Centre, we have a range of services that can help in strengthening your relationship across several areas including support for victims of family and domestic violence. Our family support team can help you recentre your approach and guide you on a path to healthy and balanced relationship goals.
