Western Sydney MRC has vacancies within the Aged Care Business Unit for casual Support Care Workers to support Elderly community members with entry-level Flexible ‘In-home’ day respite care services.

Volunteers for Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) Program

Western Sydney MRC is seeking  volunteer visitors to provide friendship and companionship for our Elderly community members for 1hr a fortnight. 

Visits are available to anyone receiving government subsidised aged care services in an aged care home or through a Home Care Package (HCP)

  • A Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work or Psychology is essential for this role
  • SCHADS Level 4 to 5 (depending on experience) with salary sacrifice options available.
  • The position is negotiable for 30.4 hrs – 38 hrs per week.
  • The position is until 30th September 2025 with a possibility of extension.

The SIS Project Coordinator will support newly arrived migrants and refugees, building capacity and promoting positive changes among individuals and families who may be facing barriers to settlement and participation in local life. This includes the provision of intensive case management support to refugee clients facing multiple and complex challenges.
