Our Settlement Engagement and Transition Supports (SETs) Caseworkers provide office based support to clients. SETS casework is targeted at newly arrived refugees and migrants who have been living in Australia for less than five years.
Our caseworkers are focused on building client capacity to access services and participate fully in Australian life. The casework support we provide is varied, and can range from building ability to complete forms and understanding documents, through to providing referral to key supports like legal advice, and providing advocacy to resolve an issue.
We have a number of activities that are available and delivered every week either at the MRC or offsite. Visit our activity page to find out more about these. We are also very interested in hearing from you if you believe there is a specific trend or need emerging from within the community.
We run a number of programs in schools supporting the needs of both individual students and their families or in larger group settings. We have a number of new initiatives being implemented in 2020. Find out more on our youth support page.
A number of services deliver programs from within the MRC. You can find a list of those partners and services on our Liverpool Services Directory.
