MiLivelihood Employment Program

The MiLivelihood program is a holistic approach to supporting women from refugee and migrant backgrounds to enter Australian workplaces. We have three main goals with this program:

1. To improve participants’ English skills and increase their awareness of Australian workplace practices and ways of working;

2. To develop participants’ social connections, resistance to isolation and sense of belonging in their new communities;

3. To increase participants’ confidence and self-esteem to seek further opportunities for paid or voluntary work, training or study.
