St. Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School recognition of City2Surf support

Acting CEO Anna-Marie and Chair of the Board Nathan Hagarty visited St Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School to recognise the contribution and support made in donations for student Samuel Plakidis.

12 year old Samuel who ran the City2Surf in July 2019 raised over $2,500 for our MRC services. It was his first time running at such an event.

“I want to help other people, this helps me understand other’s lives and different situations. Fundraising allows me to help people who are less fortunate. I use my strengths to give other people a better life. And I want to push my mum to get fit!”

Nadia Bouchti started this page and in the spirit of connection and a team effort, Samuel is taking over… using his young legs to run when I cannot.

I’m fundraising for Western Sydney Migrant Resource Centre and wanted to support them and the work my mum does by raising money as part of my participation in The 2019 Sun-Herald City2Surf presented by Westpac.

The more people that know about Western Sydney Migrant Resource Centre , the greater their impact.

Samuel

He encouraged others to spread the word by sharing his fundraising page via everyday hero. He thanked everyone for the involvement and generosity.
