Western Sydney MRC receives ISO Certification

Western Sydney has been certified for ISO 9001:2015. This is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps businesses and organisations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction.

Implementing a quality management system will help us:

  • Assess the overall context of our organisation to define who is affected by our work and what they expect from us. This will enable us to clearly state our objectives and identify new business opportunities. Through our certification we have developed robust systems of compliance and risk management.
  • Put our clients first, making sure we consistently meet their needs and exceed their expectations. This can lead to repeat custom, new clients and increased business for our organisation. We have introduced feedback, compliment and complaint forms, that allow our clients to give feedback in a safe and trusted environment.
  • Work in a more efficient way as all our processes will be aligned and understood by everyone in the business or organisation. This increases productivity and efficiency, bringing internal costs down. Our implementation of new systems means we spend more time on the people that count and less time on admin tasks.
  • Meet the necessary statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Expand into new markets, as some sectors and clients require ISO 9001 before doing business (Eg. Funding and partnership).
  • Identify and address the risks associated with our organisation. With our risk register we ensure that both internal and external risks are assessed and managed.
