Feng Guo - Non Executive Director

Compassionate and Experienced

Feng is a dispute resolution lawyer with experience working as a commercial litigation lawyer in Australia and internationally, and is admitted to practice law in NSW and New York. She is currently Legal Counsel at Credit Corp Group, an ASX-listed financial services provider. Feng holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws with The University of Sydney, where she is due to graduate with an MBA in early 2022.

Feng has given back to the community considerably through conducting pro bono work and volunteering over the years, including at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre’s Weekend Fast Track Clinic, helping to draft affidavits for asylum seekers’ applications for temporary protection visas. Prior to that, she was an Australian Business Council Network Program Mentor for the Focus program in 2017 and the Goals program in 2018, supporting young people from disadvantaged schools to develop their leadership skills and aspirations.

Feng says “I feel passionate about helping others. I feel blessed to have had the opportunities that I have personally experienced through my own immigration story of migrating to Australia with my parents when I was 2. It has taught me that hard work and resilience can lead you to succeed, with the right support network. It feels wonderful to be able to use my skills to assist in devising strategies for new migrants to Australia to have the best start on the ground. It has come full circle.”

Feng’s friends would describe her as fun-loving, considered and artistic. She enjoys playing the piano, cooking, practising yoga, and meeting new people.
