We hope you are staying well, both physically and mentally. Western Sydney MRC has continued to provide support to individuals and communities in need. We want to ensure that those who are vulnerable and disconnected have the ability to reconnect with us, enabling us to provide the support either onsite or remotely.

In line with the easing of government restrictions, Western Sydney MRC staff are returning to the office 3 days a week as of 18th May 2020. It’s important that you understand what this means for you, your clients and community.

It is our priority to keep community and staff safe and as such we have implemented a few changes to how we work during this time.

As with all the decisions we make, Western Sydney MRC has your safety and wellbeing at the heart of our successful return. In order to make this a safe environment for everyone we have set out a few guidelines.

APPOINTMENTS
Clients must book appointments through their caseworkers or through our front desk information and referral officer. Contact them on 02 8778 1202 or via email info@wsmrc.org.au.
APPOINTMENT LENGTH
Appointments will be for a maximum of 30 minutes. Caseworkers will advise clients on their availability, and whether the appointment requires a face2face meeting.
YOUR SAFETY
We expect that all visitors to our centre agree to following our staff’s instructions and ensure that they follow the guidelines displayed regarding social distancing and hygiene best practice. If you are unsure of these requirements, please let staff know and they can provide you with guidance.
DROP IN
There will be no drop-in services or group activities at this time.
SCREENING
Screening takes place to ensure the safety of our staff and community. Everyone planning to enter the MRC will be screened by being asked a few questions. These will need to be answered at the time of booking and on arrival to the appointment.
IF YOU ARE UNWELL
If you are unwell within the last 14 days or have had a positive COVID-19 test we ask that you do not attend your appointment and inform you caseworker. For those that tested positive we will require a confirmed negative test result.
SANITISER
On arrival to the centre you will be asked to use the Hand Sanitiser provided.
STAYING SAFE
To safeguard staff and the public, those that do not follow directions of the staff and centre will be asked to leave the centre
